GCSE, Secondary, Special Needs, English. Job Description

Our client seeks to appoint an English/SENCO to start in September. Candidates are being submitted now, so applicants need to apply ASAP. You will need to demonstrate previous experience delivering an English curriculum, preferably in the UK and also up to A Level, as well as having prior experience delivering lessons to SEN classes. The post is a 60/40 split of English & SEN, and is a full time, 5 days a week position.
Person Specification
" Be qualified to teach within a UK Secondary school
" At least 3 months UK experience within a Secondary environment
" A good knowledge of the UK national curriculum
" A clear CRB disclosure
" A passion to teach in a forward thinking school
" A desire to work closely with a very successful team
" Be committed to work the full duration of the contract
" Experience dealing with statemented children
" Knowledge of the workings of an SEN department, as well as delivering lessons to SEN Students
